Emergency Response – The Somali communities mainly those from floods, drought affected districts experience from time to time humanitarian crises that are due to environmental degradation, lack of education and absence of basic social amenities. Due to these and other calamities, which periodically occur, SHARDI responds to the crisis by involvement in:

• Cash transfers
• Cash plus Agriculture.
• Cash for work
• Food For Work
• Emergency Water trucking
• Distribution of food and non-food items
